Baseball Game Preview: Jamestown vs. Glasgow Yellowjackets

Jamestown are taking a road trip to square off against the Glasgow Yellowjackets at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Jamestown is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.5 runs per game this season.

Jamestown is headed into Monday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Friday. They fell 9-4 to Otterville.

Hudson Clay made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That hit marked the first that he got this season.

Clay wasn't the only one working in the home run department: Jamestown lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Glasgow took on Westran. in a bug-themed battle on Tuesday. Glasgow took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Westran. The Yellowjackets have struggled against the Hornets recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Jamestown's record is now 1-3. As for Glasgow, their record now sits at 1-1.

Jamestown couldn't quite finish off Glasgow when the teams last played back in May of 2024 and fell 5-3. Can Jamestown avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
