Volleyball Recap: Carmel Comes Up Short

Carmel was the 2-0 winner over Niles Notre Dame when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Corsairs might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 2-0 to the Dons, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Corsairs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-17.

Carmel's record now sits at 7-26. As for Niles Notre Dame, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Carmel is set to square off against their familiar foe Marist at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Niles Notre Dame will face off against rival St. Patrick at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
