Basketball Recap: Sumter Comes Up Short

Sumter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 57-48 to the Westside Rams. The Gamecocks were not able to make up for their loss to the Rams from their previous meeting back in December of 2023.

Sumter's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Westside, the win keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.

Sumter will head out on the road to square off against Spring Valley at 8:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Westside, they will square off against Daniel at 3:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025.
