If Perry Meridian wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Mt. Vernon, they should've done a better job of containing Aubry Dowling. The Marauders were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Falcons on Monday for which the team can thank Dowling, who had 20 digs and three assists. She has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last nine times she's played.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-16, 25-22.

The win made it two in a row for Mt. Vernon and bumps their season record up to 17-7. As for Perry Meridian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-13.

Coming up, Mt. Vernon will face off against New Palestine at 7:05 p.m. on Thursday. As for Perry Meridian, they will take on Pike at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
