Softball Recap: Plano Comes Up Short

Plano was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 9-2 to the Marengo Indians. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-0 back in April.

Plano's loss dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Marengo, they moved to 12-15 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Plano is set to challenge their familiar foe Woodstock at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Marengo will face off against rival Johnsburg at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
