O'Dea is a perfect 3-0 against Ferndale since November of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Fighting Irish will square off against the Golden Eagles at 5:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Ferndale will face off against a team with plenty of momentum: O'Dea extended their winning streak to nine on Friday. The Fighting Irish blew past Snohomish 56-14. The result was nothing new for the Fighting Irish, who have now won six games by 25 points or more so far this season.

O'Dea found their leader in sophomore J?Shaun Wilson, who rushed for 167 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Allias Moimoi, who rushed for 40 yards and one TD.

O'Dea was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 338 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Ferndale walked away with it. They slipped by the Blackhawks 35-34 on Friday. 35 seems to be a good number for the Golden Eagles as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

The win got Ferndale back to even at 5-5. As for O'Dea, their record now sits at 9-1.

Everything came up roses for O'Dea against Ferndale in their previous meeting back in November of 2019, as the team secured a 42-7 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Fighting Irish since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
