Volleyball Recap: Pine View Starts off Right with Win over Timpview

Pine View gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They put the hurt on the Timpview Thunderbirds with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Panthers not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since August 17, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

One reason for the win was Pine View's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-18, 25-16.

Pine View can attribute much of their success to Anaya Little, who had ten digs and three assists. That's the most assists Little has posted since back in September of 2024.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pine View will challenge Hurricane at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Panthers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Timpview, they are taking a road trip to take on Crimson Cliffs at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
