Baseball Recap: Modoc Takes a Loss

Modoc suffered their closest defeat since April 19, 2025 on Friday. They fell just short of the Mt. Shasta Bears by a score of 3-1. The Braves were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bears earlier this season, when they won 7-5.

Modoc saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Collin Schluter, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one double.

Modoc's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Mt. Shasta, their win bumped their record up to 9-6.

Modoc has already played their next game, a 4-0 victory against Mazama on the 9th. As for Mt. Shasta, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 9-1 defeat against Shasta on the 7th.
