Volleyball Recap: Del Rio Takes a Loss

Del Rio saw some tournament action on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Johnson City Eagles. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Del Rio ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-17.

Del Rio now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Johnson City, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.

Del Rio wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Comfort on the 29th. As for Johnson City, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Marion on the 29th.
