Soccer Recap: Mt. Pulaski Takes a Loss

Mt. Pulaski was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Olympia Spartans, falling 9-0. If Mt. Pulaski were looking for revenge after losing 9-0 to Olympia when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Mt. Pulaski's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Olympia, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mt. Pulaski will head out to square off against Illini Bluffs at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Illini Bluffs will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Mt. Pulaski surely won't give up without a fight. As for Olympia, they are taking a road trip to face off against Athens/Greenview/Illini Central at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
