Ashe County has won four straight games at home, while Hibriten has won four straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Huskies will host the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Ashe County is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.

While Ashe County's victory against Surry Central wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Huskies skirted past the Golden Eagles 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Huskies have posted since March 19th.

Ashe County's victory was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Addi Williams, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

Williams wasn't the only one making solid contact: Ashe County kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Surry Central only managed six hits.

Meanwhile, Hibriten came into Friday's contest having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against Freedom on Friday by a score of 9-6 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game).

Hibriten's win bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Ashe County, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
