J.L. Mann put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. Their defense stepped up to hand the Chapin Eagles a 1-0 shutout. The Patriots' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last four contests.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Grant Boggs, which was the first he's scored this season.

J.L. Mann's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Chapin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. J.L. Mann will take on Woodmont at 7:00 p.m. on March 11th. As for Chapin, they will square off against Catawba Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Catawba Ridge is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.8 goals per game this season.
