Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Woodgrove). They put the hurt on the Park View Patriots with a sharp 5-1 victory on Monday. The win was familiar territory for Woodgrove, who have now won three games in a row.

They hit Park View with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Liam Barrus (2), Bryce Wallace Quigley, Arturo Delao-Morales, and Jaden Park.

Woodgrove's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored ten goals over those three contests. As for Park View, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Woodgrove will head out to take on Broad Run at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Woodgrove are facing Broad Run at the right time seeing as Broad Run are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Park View, they will venture away from home to square off against Heritage at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Heritage's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
