Baseball Recap: Vela Sabercats vs. Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest Javelinas
Vela came out on top against Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run second inning. The Sabercats blew past the Javelinas 9-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 17-1 on Tuesday.
June Garza, Jr. looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March.
