Basketball Recap: Windham RVT's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Windham RVT extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Brady Marsh. The Windham RVT Mighty Tigers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 75-72 win over the Goodwin Tech Gladiators on Tuesday thanks in part to Marsh, who posted 30 points along with five boards and three steals. His evening made it eight games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Fischer Jones, who put up six points in addition to six assists and four steals. That's the most assists he has posted since back in January of 2024.

Despite the defeat, Goodwin Tech had strong showings from Nazir Russell, who went 11 of 23 on his way to 36 points and seven assists, and Amare Robinson, who went 7 of 16 on his way to 24 points and seven rebounds. Robinson is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Edson Hernandez, who had eight points.

Windham RVT's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Goodwin Tech, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Windham RVT will head out to take on Norwich RVT at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Windham RVT knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matches -- so hopefully Norwich RVT likes a good challenge. As for Goodwin Tech, they will host Platt RVT at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
