Red Springs has no trouble against St. Pauls

The Red Springs Red Devils had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They enjoyed a cozy 54-38 win over St. Pauls on Wednesday. This was payback for Red Springs, who suffered a 48-46 loss the last time these two teams met.

Kaedon Porter was his usual excellent self, scoring 18 points along with nine rebounds and two steals. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Justice Mcmillan, who scored six points along with five rebounds and two steals.

St. Pauls lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jamir Mcmillan, who scored six points along with two steals. Jamarcus Smith was another key contributor, scoring six points along with eight rebounds.

Red Springs' victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-9. As for St. Pauls, their loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 7-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Red Springs will face off against Clinton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
