Soccer Recap: Crisfield Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Crisfield had to start their season on the road on Monday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against the Bennett Clippers, falling 7-3. The loss continues a trend for Crisfield in their meetings with Bennett: they've now lost six in a row.

Bennett's victory bumped their record up to 4-0.

Crisfield will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on North Dorchester at 5:30 p.m. on October 8. As for Bennett, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 4-1 win against Queen Anne's County on the 17th.
