Volleyball Recap: Frontier Regional Comes Up Short

Frontier Regional was the 3-2 winner over Pioneer Valley Christian when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Red Hawks took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles on Tuesday.

While Frontier Regional had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-23, 23-25, 25-18.

Tegan Dexter paced Frontier Regional's offense, picking up 22 kills. Dexter got some help from Tavo Vincent-Warner and his 40 assists. Finally, William Reading kept Frontier Regional's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Frontier Regional has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season. As for Pioneer Valley Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2.

Frontier Regional has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Granby on the 14th. Pioneer Valley Christian has also already played their next match (against Athol), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
