Skyview is 1-9 against Billings Senior since May of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. Skyview will take on Billings Senior at 3:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.
Skyview fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Billings West on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Golden Bears by a score of 3-2. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Falcons couldn't push the score so high this time.

Brooklyn Arce spent all 7.2 innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on seven hits and racked up six Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.
At the plate, Skyview saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Taylor Gallardo, who scored a run while going 1-for-4.
For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Billings Senior and Belgrade meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Tuesday. Billings Senior fell 9-5 to Belgrade. The loss put an end to the Broncs' undefeated start to the season.
Viennah Meyer was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Octavia Meyer, who scored a run while going 4-for-4.
Skyview now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Billings Senior, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
Skyview's speedy runners might be the difference in Monday's game. Skyview has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.3 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Billings Senior, though, as they've been averaging only 1.3 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Skyview continue to outrun the ball?
Skyview might still be hurting after the 14-0 defeat they got from Billings Senior in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Can Skyview avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
