Lawrence North had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They beat the Pike Red Devils on Saturday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 45-44. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Red Devils recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Lawrence North's victory bumped their record up to 19-8. As for Pike, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 20-8.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Wildcats duke it out with the Tigers at 8:15 p.m. on March 1st. Warsaw will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Lawrence North surely won't give up without a fight. Pike does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
