Recap: Mt. Pulaski Hilltoppers vs. Delavan Panthers
The Mt. Pulaski Hilltoppers lost against the Delavan Panthers back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Mt. Pulaski took a 53-36 bruising from Delavan. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Mt. Pulaski in their matchups with Delavan: they've now lost three in a row.
It was another big night for Cooper Hansen, who scored 20 points along with five rebounds for Delavan. Another player making a difference was Micah Brockhouse, who scored 15 points.
Mt. Pulaski's loss dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Delavan, they now have a winning record of 12-11.
Mt. Pulaski will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Teresa at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Delavan will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Illini Central at 4:00 p.m. on January 27th.
