Basketball Recap: Make It Ten in a Row for Norte Vista

Norte Vista extended their winning streak to ten games thanks to a huge performance from Carter Fulton. Everything went the Norte Vista Braves' way against the La Sierra Eagles on Monday as the Norte Vista Braves made off with an 84-64 win thanks in part to Fulton, who went 12 for 18 on his way to 29 points in addition to five assists and three steals. His evening made it nine games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Norte Vista has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 games, which provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29.9 points. As for La Sierra, they dropped their record down to 3-19 with the loss, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Norte Vista will welcome Jurupa Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Norte Vista is facing Jurupa Valley at the right time seeing as Jurupa Valley is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for La Sierra, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when the La Sierra Eagles take on the Rubidoux Falcons at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Rubidoux knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matches -- so hopefully La Sierra likes a good challenge.
