Volleyball Recap: Westland Hialeah Takes a Loss

Westland Hialeah lost against Hialeah Gardens back in March of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Westland Hialeah Wildcats lost 3-0 to the Hialeah Gardens Gladiators. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Westland Hialeah was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Hialeah Gardens' winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-20, 25-22.

Westland Hialeah's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Hialeah Gardens, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Westland Hialeah will square off against North Miami at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Hialeah Gardens, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Varela at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
