Baseball Recap: Lindsay Lane Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Lindsay Lane Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Ardmore Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-3 last Tuesday.

Lindsay Lane Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Ardmore, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lindsay Lane Christian Academy will take on Addison at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Ardmore, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Ardmore Tigers challenge West Limestone Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. West Limestone's pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so Ardmore's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
