Baseball Recap: Buena Takes a Loss

The Buena Chiefs came up short against the Cumberland Colts on Wednesday and fell 12-7. The Chiefs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Buena saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Johnny Morales, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Buena's defeat dropped their record down to 14-12. As for Cumberland, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-19 record this season.

As of now, neither Buena nor Cumberland have any future games scheduled.
