Volleyball Game Preview: Winnacunnet Warriors vs. Keene Blackbirds

The Winnacunnet Warriors will venture away from home to square off against the Keene Blackbirds at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Keene took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Winnacunnet, who comes in off a win.

Winnacunnet took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They came out on top against Goffstown by a score of 3-1. The victory was some much needed relief for the Warriors as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.

Meanwhile, Keene was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 36th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to Salem.

Winnacunnet's win bumped their record up to 5-13. As for Keene, their loss dropped their record down to 11-23.

Winnacunnet was able to grind out a solid victory over Keene in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
