Soccer Recap: San Juan Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Highlands, San Juan was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They beat the Kelseyville Knights by a goal, winning 2-1. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Spartans were the better team in the second half.

Martin Vargas was the driving force of San Juan's attack as he scored both of San Juan's goals, bringing his season total up to eight goals.

San Juan's victory bumped their record up to 3-5-1. As for Kelseyville, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-10-2.

San Juan will face off against Woodland Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kelseyville, they will head out to challenge Casa Grande at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
