Volleyball Recap: Red Bluff Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Red Bluff extended their losing streak to 11 on Thursday, dropping them down to 11-22. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Chico Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

As for Chico, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-14. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 6-15 Enterprise and 11-22 Red Bluff.

Emma Young was the offensive standout of the match as she had six digs and three aces. That's the most digs she has posted since back in September.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Red Bluff will take on rival Enterprise at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Chico is set to challenge their familiar foe Foothill at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
