Recap: Centura Centurions vs. Ravenna Bluejays
In what's become a running theme this season, the Centura Centurions gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They blew past Ravenna 47-15 at home. The win was familiar territory for Centura who now have five in a row.
Centura got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Hope Mcdonald out in front who scored ten points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Mcdonald has scored all season. Kailey Coghlan was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with six rebounds.
Centura has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for Ravenna, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Centura will take on Arcadia/Loup City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ravenna will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on St. Paul at 6:00 p.m. on February 6th.
