Ty Williams Delivers Best Effort of Season

Madisonville was led to victory by Ty Williams, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Williams threw for 346 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 10.8 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 30 yards and a touchdown. His passing game has become a key predictor of Madisonville's success: the team is 2-1 when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 1-2 otherwise.

If history really does repeat itself, Williams might just drop another big game when he faces off against Caldwell on Friday. Williams threw for 163 yards and three touchdowns on perfect 7-for-7 passing, and also rushed for 43 yards the last time he and the Hornets duked it out back in September of 2023.

Caldwell had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Mcdaniel it was a similar story. When Mcdaniel last faced the Hornets back in October of 2023, he rushed for 154 yards and a touchdown.
