Basketball Game Preview: North Hills Indians vs. Seneca Valley Raiders

The North Hills Indians will head out to challenge the Seneca Valley Raiders at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in North Hills' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, North Hills turned things around against Butler on Tuesday. They managed a 69-65 victory over the Golden Tornado.

Meanwhile, Seneca Valley can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They walked away with a 47-39 win over North Allegheny. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Raiders' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 303rd, while the Tigers are ranked 145th).

Seneca Valley's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-7. As for North Hills, their record is now 2-4.

North Hills came out on top in a nail-biter against Seneca Valley when the teams last played back in December of 2022, sneaking past 55-53. Will North Hills repeat their success, or does Seneca Valley have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
