Baseball Game Preview: Shidler Tigers vs. Pawhuska Huskies

Shidler is on a seven-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and Pawhuska a three-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Monday. The Shidler Tigers will host the Pawhuska Huskies at 6:15 p.m. Shidler has given up an average of 9.5 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

Last Thursday, Shidler didn't have quite enough to beat Cimarron and fell 11-10.

Meanwhile, Pawhuska lost 11-3 to Hammon on Thursday.

Pawhuska saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Corlin Cass, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. Those two hits gave Cass a new career-high. Another was Lane Kyler, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Pawhuska's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Shidler, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
