Basketball Preview: Jackson Academy Raiders vs. St. Joseph Catholic Bruins

Mike Williams continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, shooting 4-for-8 from beyond the arc and dropping a double-double on 29 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Mason Williams, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 13 rebounds.
St. Joseph Catholic has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 62-42 walloping at the hands of Presbyterian Christian on Friday.
Jackson Academy's victory was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 28-1. As for St. Joseph Catholic, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 21-8 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Jackson Academy against the Bruins in their previous matchup back in January as the team secured a 63-36 win. With Jackson Academy ahead 38-15 at the half, the game was all but over already.
