Volleyball Recap: Damien's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Damien entered their tilt with Southlands Christian on Tuesday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Southlands Christian Eagles by a score of 3-1.

The victory didn't come easy: Southlands Christian scored at least 20 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 26-24, 20-25, 25-22.

Dillon McClister paced Damien's offense, picking up 13 kills. McClister got some help from Darren Chen and his 22 assists. Alex Pilarz controlled things from the service line, finishing with eight aces.

Damien pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Damien will welcome San Dimas at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Southlands Christian, they will venture away from home to face off against El Rancho at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The last three games El Rancho has played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
