Basketball Recap: Cascade Comes Up Short

Cascade was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were dealt an 83-53 defeat at the hands of the Lake Stevens Vikings. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bruins of the 86-47 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2022.

Cascade's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Lake Stevens, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-7.

Cascade will welcome Stanwood at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lake Stevens, they are taking a road trip to take on Mariner at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
