Basketball Game Preview: Leigh Longhorns vs. Palo Alto Vikings

Leigh is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They pulled ahead with a 48-47 photo finish over Mountain View.

Meanwhile, Palo Alto won against Mountain View last Tuesday with 58 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. Palo Alto enjoyed a cozy 58-40 win over Evergreen Valley. Given the Vikings' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 120th in California, while the Cougars are ranked 421st in California), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Leigh's victory bumped their record up to 16-9. As for Palo Alto, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-4 record this season.
