Volleyball Recap: Ridgewood Takes a Loss

Ridgewood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Garaway Pirates. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Generals of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

While Ridgewood was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-17, 25-12.

When it comes to explaining why Ridgewood lost, don't look at Kaydence Lahna. Despite the final result, she had 12 digs and one assist.

Ridgewood's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Garaway, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-5.

Ridgewood wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Tri-Valley on the 17th. As for Garaway, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Tuscarawas Valley on the 18th.
