Joe Sullivan posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Friday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Sullivan and Omaha Central will head out to face off against Papillion-LaVista at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Eagles have some work to do to even out the 1-9 series between these two since April of 2018, but a win here would be a good start.
