Basketball Recap: East Lawrence Comes Up Short

It was a Battle of the Birds when East Lawrence faced off against Danville on Thursday. The East Lawrence Eagles fell to the Danville Hawks 45-40. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Hawks earlier this season, when they won 57-42.

East Lawrence's loss dropped their record down to 17-7. As for Danville, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 22-8.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Danville beat East Lawrence by a score of 45-40 on Friday.
