Conroe is 8-2 against Willis since January of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Conroe Tigers will face off against the Willis Wildkats at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Conroe will bounce into Friday's game after beating Grand Oaks, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. Conroe came out on top in a nail-biter against Grand Oaks on Tuesday, sneaking past 45-43. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Tigers have posted since December 27, 2024.

Meanwhile, Willis had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.3 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Eagles 74-32. The Wildkats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Willis' victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-9. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.0 points per game. As for Conroe, their win bumped their record up to 12-16.

Conroe didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Willis in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 62-56 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Conroe since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
