Volleyball Recap: Lowry Comes Up Short

Lowry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dayton Dust Devils. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Dust Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in September.

Natalya Guizar paced Lowry's offense, picking up eight kills. Guizar got some help from Lexi Hernandez and her nine assists.

Lowry's defeat dropped their record down to 8-17. As for Dayton, they pushed their record up to 16-7 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home.

Lowry wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Fernley on the 11th. As for Dayton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Churchill County on the 14th.
