A Season-Best  Performance from  Trey Rush Leads Grady over Elida
 Grady was led to victory by  Trey Rush, who turned in his biggest game of the season  on Friday. Rush rushed for 203 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries, and also picked up 63 receiving yards, good enough to  set a new career-high in  rushing yards in the process. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up  two  sacks, forcing two fumbles,  and making 13 total tackles (5.0 for loss).
 The  win was  the fifth in a row for Grady, bringing their record for this year to 7-1. Rush and Grady will head out to  challenge Floyd  at 1:00  p.m.  on Friday.

 Elida was sadly handed a  loss on Friday, but  Cason Norman did his best to prevent it. Norman was unstoppable, rushing for 220 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 12.2 yards per carry. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 50 yards.
 Elida's defeat was  their third straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 5-3. Norman and Elida will take on Dora at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.

Brycen Barnes Delivers Best  Performance of Season
 Roy/Mosquero was led to victory by  Brycen Barnes, who turned in his biggest game of the season  on Friday. Barnes rushed for 163 yards and four touchdowns on only nine carries. The  performance  marked the most  rushing yards  he has had since back in October of 2023. He didn't just play on offense: he also made three total tackles and defended two passes.
 Barnes must have Floyd's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Back in September of 2023 (the last time  Barnes saw the Broncos), he rushed for 48 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 42 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Gonzalez-Lopez Came Up Big in New Mexico School for the Deaf's  58-26  Defeat
 While New Mexico School for the Deaf might've come up empty  on Thursday,  Alex Gonzalez-Lopez wasn't going down without a fight. Despite the   defeat,  Gonzalez-Lopez was still balling out as he picked up 129 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 84 yards on only ten carries.
 New Mexico School for the Deaf dropped their record down to 2-4 with the  loss, which was their fifth straight  at home dating back to last season. Gonzalez-Lopez and New Mexico School for the Deaf will challenge Arkansas School for the Deaf at 2:30  p.m.  on Saturday.

Deakin Ragland Makes It Two for Grady
 Another Grady player making an appearance on this list is  Deakin Ragland. He picked up 71 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 50 yards and a touchdown.
 This year,  Ragland  has caught 5 touchdowns while averaging 35.1 receiving yards per game.
