Football Game Preview: Gateway Christian vs. Dora

Dora may have come out ahead in their last match, but they shouldn't get too cocky given who is up next. They will challenge Gateway Christian on the road at Warrior Field at 7:00 PM on Friday. Dora will really need to gear up for this challenge, as Gateway Christian will be their toughest opponent yet.

Dora put themselves on the board against Pine Hill last Saturday, but Pine Hill never followed suit. Everything came up roses for Dora against Pine Hill as the squad secured a 50-0 win. Followers of Dora probably expected little less of the squad in a season in which they have collected three blowout victories.

Meanwhile, Gateway Christian faced Mesilla Valley Christian School in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Gateway Christian were gifted an easy victory as Mesilla Valley Christian School wound up forfeiting 0-1. Having pegged this as anyone's game, the MaxPreps state rankings were right on the nose.

Their wins bumped Dora to 4-1 and Gateway Christian to 3-0. Two forfeits in a row aren't very likely, so Gateway Christian better be ready for a battle.
