Basketball Recap: Norman Thomas Skates Past Irving with Ease

A well-balanced attack led Norman Thomas over Irving in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Norman Thomas Tigers blew Irving out of the water with a 103-43 final score. The match was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Tigers had established a 51 point advantage.

Norman Thomas got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Chris Taylor out in front who shot 4-for-7 from downtown and dropped a double-double on 31 points and 11 rebounds. The game was Taylor's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jariel Rodriguez, who almost dropped a double-double on 29 points and nine assists.
