Softball Recap: Jefferson Takes a Loss

Jefferson blew Daingerfield out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Tuesday Daingerfield got their revenge. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Bulldogs have suffered since February 22, 2024.

Amariuanna Amie was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddie Cooner, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Jefferson now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Daingerfield, their record is now 5-13.

As of now, neither Jefferson nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
