Softball Recap: Hill School Comes Up Short

Hill School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Blair Academy Bucs, falling 10-2. The game snapped a strange streak: the last four times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

Hill School saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Willow Gall, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. That stolen base was Gall's first of the season.

Hill School's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Blair Academy, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.

When Hill School and Blair Academy next hit the field, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. The Rams will take on Germantown Academy and their three-game winning streak at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Blair Academy will try to stop The Pingry School's 11-game winning streak when they meet on Tuesday.
