Softball Recap: Deer Park Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Deer Park, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They never let the Clear Brook Wolverines get on the board and left with a 16-0 win on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Deer in their matchups with the Wolverines: they've now won three in a row.

Deer Park pushed their record up to 18-6 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Clear Brook, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-15.

Coming up, Deer Park is taking a road trip to take on Clear Lake at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
