Middletown took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-16, 25-23.
Walkersville now has a losing record at 2-3-1. As for Middletown, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5-1.
Walkersville was able to grind out a solid victory over Middletown when the teams last played back in September of 2023, winning 3-1.
