Volleyball Recap: Tuscarawas Valley Has No Trouble Against West Holmes

The Tuscarawas Valley Trojans made easy work of the West Holmes Knights on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Tuscarawas Valley was: they took every set by at least 14 points. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-9, 25-10.

Sydney Miller paced Tuscarawas Valley's offense, picking up nine kills. Miller got some help from Camrynn Fragasse and her 19 assists. Miller also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Adidason Spivey, racking up five apiece.

The win got Tuscarawas Valley back to even at 5-5. As for West Holmes, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.

Tuscarawas Valley has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Canton Central Catholic on the 13th. As for West Holmes, they will face off against Lexington at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
