Volleyball Recap: Tyler Comes Up Short

Tyler lost against Van back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lions took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vandals.

Tyler was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-22.

Tyler now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Van, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Tyler wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Chapel Hill on the 14th. As for Van, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Waskom on the 14th.
